OK, suppose I'd better break the silence....
Well done South Africa, they shaded it, and over the tournament, they were probably the best team, so the right team won it.
But even the most die-hard South African fans will HAVE to admit that England gave them a close run game, and Tait's 'non try' was by far the best attacking move of ther match, on EITHER side.
Quite apart from the fact that England got two rounds further than anyone thought they could or should.
Nw, England need to start building to the next World Cup, unlike last time when they sat back on their success for a little bit too long and suddenly realised they were not very good anymore.
And Keith, the results of the quarter and semi finals still stand, so I hope you will demonstrate your canibalistic tendancies for all to see soon - with nuts and topping. (And as you suggested yourself, strawberries). |

I can do nothing other than congratulate the Springboks, they deserved to win and were the best team in the tournament. However, I must echo Jezza's sentiments and look forward to Keith's 'eatathon'! And before you get too cocky Statto, I have one word for you: NETS! |
