The Australia Pension Fund XIBrad Hogg is the latest player to announce his retirement, so I wondered how good a team it was possible to put together from the Aussies who've quit since the Ashes series last winter.

12th Man: Gillespie (or Tait, although I know Tait may come back sooner or later).
We still need a few middle-order batsmen to retire to fill that middle order.
Or is there anyone I've forgotten?
On a semi-serious note, now that Hogg has quit, who's going to be Australia's number one spinner? Stuart MacGill appears to be well out of contention at the moment, after his poor form and fitness against the Sri Lankans, so that leaves the fringe spinners needing to step up - Dan Cullen, Nathan Hauritz and Cameron White all spring to mind, although if the ODIs against England last winter were anything to go by, White's bowling is not his strongest suit these days.

So, the Australian Pension Find XI can now boast a three-pronged spin attack of Warne, Hogg and MacGill, who has today announced his retirement as of the end of the current Test match in Antigua.

Can we add Andrew Symonds to the Pension Fund XI, even though it's because he's been behaving like a roudy teenager that his Test career could be over  
Or perhaps Bryce McGain? Oh,no sorry, he's probably going to be making his debut in a couple of weeks, not actually retiring, at the spritely age of 36! Something tells me the Australian spin cupboard is looking slightly bare at the moment.
