Got some reasonable photos this week, plus a very good one of Bucklebury's Justin Kerwin being bowled. That one will end up on the website....
That was a terific innings on Sunday Mike, shame about the result but I think you'll be dining out on that one for a while yet.
Scorecards have been sent to the Newbury Weekly News and the Gazette, and there is a scorecard on Bucklebury's website at http://bucklebury.play-cricket.co...reboard/scorecard.asp?id=10350171, I'll be doing the usual report and scorecard over the next couple of days.

I feel that I have to repeat the feat in the near (ish) future before I start to brag about it! Also, I am still cheesed off that I got out and didn't see it through! However, I do have to admit that I had wondered if I would ever get the opportunity to 'raise my bat'!

Bad loss based on poor captaincy decision......
i.e. naming me in the starting 11

Nah mate, it was my fault for getting greedy and throwing my wicket away (and also dropping their top scorer before he had reached 50)! Still grinning about getting a 50 though!

pIPWe know who you are pip - come clean, your screat safe with this!!! By the way mike, phil said the saying of the season sunday when you were batting, he trusts his captain just not his brother in law!!!

Score card and report from last Sunday is on the website in case you didn't know. Photos will follow soon.
I'm off work next week, and one of the many things I've got to do is reformat my antique PC and re-install everything. I hope this time it won't take a month to get the website updated again, as it did last time! Fingers crossed...

Where are those photos then Mr Webmaster? I want to bask in the glory a little longer!

Erm...yes, sorry about that. This week (maybe). I've got a cold at the moment so anything beyond pressing buttons on a keyboard to make words (like re-sizing photos) is beyond my cotton-wool filled head.
And yes, I know, it's more than I managed to catch all season - thought I'd better get that in first.

I've just uploaded the averages, so if you want to 'bask in the glory' and don't want to wait until I've sorted out the photos...

Keith, in light of certain recent posts, and in my capacity as moderator, (not to mention not wanting to witness any more serious injuries at nets next spring - all that blood splattered over the walls in the hall is very distracting when batting in the nets), I'd advise you to maintain a diplomatic silence at this point.

Hey Jezza! Where are those photos you promised?

Ask and you shall get. Eventually.
I couldn't resist this one - it produces warm fuzzy feelings of intense smugness.
But these are probably the ones you really wanted to see....
Sorry, I wimped out of the whole re-sizing and uploading to the web site routine (for four months).

Good man! I hope that you didn't capture an image of me acknowledging my 50 because you were applauding wildly?
