I hope you will understad if I become an India fan for the next month, I think this could be a close series.
India have their famous powerhouse of batting, but age, and in Tendulkar's case of late, fitness, is not on their side. Plus their captain, Kumble, is now 38, the oldest ma in the side.
The Aussies on the other hand, have a bare spin bowling cupboard in a series where I suspect spin could play a major part. The two spinners they named for the tour had a combined total of ZERO Test caps, one (aged 36!) has gone home injured and the other went for 0 for 123 the other day in 20 overs. The replacement bowler they've called up (White) is nowehere near test class, I think. Shane Warne, your country needs you!
